40 Degrees preparing for the Normandy Channel Race

The Normandy Channel Race starts on the 16th of May from Caen, taking the fleet on a course throught the Solent, then west along the south coast of England, then along the south coast of Ireland, followed by North Brittany and the finish in Caen.
12 Class40s are expected to compete in what will be a tactically challenging race, with the added fun of tide, land effects, shipping, fishing boats etc. Peter will be racing with Halvard Mabire (already familiar with 40 Degrees, having sailed back from Antigua to Europe with Miranda).
